About Me
I've always been fascinated by children, and from a very young age, I knew my work would center around being a "helper." Over the years, my career has woven through home visiting programs, early intervention, family engagement, instructional coaching, and classroom teaching. What has remained constant is my commitment to supporting both young children and the adults who care for them.
As a lifelong learner, I’ve continued to deepen my knowledge in areas that uplift caregivers—whether they’re parents, teachers, or home visitors—and support the developmental needs of young children.
After becoming a parent myself and relocating to a new community, I quickly realized that there was a gap in comprehensive support for families—from the perinatal period through early childhood. There were few opportunities to build community, and even fewer trusted, approachable spaces offering reliable information and guidance.
I believe deeply in the power of shared experiences—among caregivers, educators, and families—and in the idea that all behavior and experience has meaning, especially in young children.
